I don't have any pictures to capture me week, -I don't think they would be picture people would be interested in seeing, so we will keep it verbal.

Tuesday Karis was sick ALL Day.  She threw up on BOTH my couches, so sad.

Wednesday we had water come into our basement- (that got waterproofed 2 summers ago)  only to find a few hours later it was sewage.  a pipe got backed up, so the city won't do anything about it, b/c the pipe didn't break. PRAISE THE LORD for AMAZING friends who help us on our many house projects.

Thursday night I was sick all night long, which made me miss our Crusade fellowship dinner, where my husband got introduced as the new campus director and spoke.  So sad I was unable to be there to support and be proud of him.

So this weekend we spent cleaning our basement, ripped down 2 walks, cleaned everything, and threw a lot away.

And now our washer is broke from all the sewer water getting into it.

What a week it has been.  WOW  I am glad we have such great family, my mom came to help me with the girls while I was sick, then Brads mom took the girls so we could clean things up this weekend, and my mom stayed to help.

100_0907 This picture is just so funny of Grace.

We went to Panama City for spring break with 14 students and it was so much fun.  It was a little hard being in the room all day with just the girls.  I weather was BEAUTIFUL, but I was not super motivated to put sun screen on two girls to take then out to the beach by myself and then have to come back and give baths.  Brad and I took them out a few time together and Karis just didn't like it.  I think some of it had to do with the sun being bright and she wouldn't keep her sunglasses on.

Grace LOVES music so she using Daddy's IPOD.

100_1226The last day we took the girls to the pool.  The hotel pool had a nice set of steps that led into the water and Grace enjoyed sitting on them,  she liked being in the water but didn't really like going into the deep parts with us.  Karis didn't like the deep part at first but she warmed up to it and would let us kick her feet in the water.  By the end of our 45mins there Grace was sitting on the steps and dipping her face into the water, at least her month I don't know how much of her nose went it, but it was exciting to see that she was willing to try that.

We had a really nice Christmas,  but it is nice to be home.

Our kids are hitting all the milestones this week,  Karis just started walking,  she is doing great. and they girls got there hair cut for the first time.  Karis was just a little but Grace's is very noticeable.  And to top off the milestones we started potty training Grace.  it didn't go the best.  There weren't tears but she is not getting it either.  She just doesn't seem to notice or care that she is wet.  But we are still moving forward to pull up and no more diapers.

Christmas

I Love this month. Lights, music, cookies, family, snow-  well I amnot sure how much I like that one.  It is pretty but, I don'tlike the cold and havingto drive in it.  We have already celebrated one Christmas last Saturday and will soon be celebrating another one this Saturday with my Brothers and family.

WOW California was beautiful it was so much fun getting to see our friends.  Brad has been having some stressful situation with students and it filters into my life to get me worked up too.  It was so nice to take a break for those issues, get away and be refreshed in beautiful California and be with Friends who are so loving.  I feel like a came away with so much new knowledge on living life.  Mainly in parenting but not limited to that.
